These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of GEOptimisation, a Shopify app that provides AI-search readiness audits, product content recommendations, structured data checks and optimisation workflows for Shopify stores.

By installing, accessing or using GEOptimisation, you agree to these Terms of Service.

GEOptimisation helps Shopify merchants assess and improve their store’s AI-search readiness, product content quality, structured data coverage, crawlability signals and optimisation opportunities.

The app may allow merchants to run audits, review recommendations, approve selected changes, stage supported updates and manage optimisation workflows from within Shopify Admin.

To use GEOptimisation, you must:

• Be authorised to install and manage apps for the connected Shopify store.
• Have authority to access, review and update store content.
• Use the app in accordance with these Terms, Shopify’s terms and all applicable laws.

GEOptimisation may provide features including:

• Quick audits for fast store health checks.
• Collection audits for selected product groups.
• Full-store audits for broader catalogue coverage.
• GEO health scores and audit history.
• Product content quality checks.
• Structured data and schema recommendations.
• Storefront crawlability and access checks.
• Prioritised optimisation recommendations.
• Approval, staging, apply and reset workflows for supported recommendations.

Some features may depend on Shopify permissions, store configuration, storefront availability, app plan, technical limitations or third-party services.

You remain responsible for your Shopify store and all decisions made in relation to your store.

This includes responsibility for:

• Product content.
• SEO and GEO strategy.
• Legal and regulatory compliance.
• Product claims and descriptions.
• Pricing, availability and merchandising.
• Reviewing recommendations before applying changes.
• Ensuring any app-generated or app-suggested content is accurate and appropriate for your store.

GEOptimisation provides guidance and workflow support, but it does not replace merchant review or professional advice.

GEOptimisation does not guarantee:

• Search engine rankings.
• AI-search visibility.
• Inclusion in AI-generated answers.
• Traffic increases.
• Sales increases.
• Indexing by search engines.
• Acceptance or display by Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity or any other search or AI platform.
• Any specific commercial outcome.

The app is designed to help improve content clarity, structured data coverage and AI-search readiness indicators, but results depend on many factors outside GEOptimisation’s control.

Where GEOptimisation supports applying product content updates, those updates require merchant approval and confirmation.

GEOptimisation does not automatically apply product updates without merchant action.

You are responsible for reviewing all proposed changes before applying them to your Shopify store.

Where reset, revert or rollback options are available, they are provided to support safer workflow management. However, you should still review any changes carefully and maintain your own store backups where appropriate.

Some GEOptimisation checks may require access to storefront pages.

If your Shopify store is password-protected, blocks unauthenticated access or restricts crawling, some storefront checks may be limited or partially completed.

In these cases, product and catalogue checks may still run through Shopify Admin permissions, but storefront-based checks may not fully reflect the public store experience until the storefront is accessible.

GEOptimisation may be offered as a paid app with subscription pricing, trial periods or other billing arrangements.

Billing is managed through Shopify where applicable. Any charges, trials, renewals, cancellations or billing approvals are handled through Shopify’s billing system.

You are responsible for reviewing and approving any subscription charges before using paid functionality.

If a free trial is offered, the trial terms will be displayed during the Shopify billing approval process.

At the end of the trial period, Shopify may begin billing according to the approved plan unless the subscription is cancelled in accordance with Shopify’s billing process.

We aim to keep GEOptimisation reliable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The app may be unavailable, delayed or limited due to:

• Maintenance.
• Shopify platform issues.
• Hosting or database outages.
• Third-party service interruptions.
• API limits.
• Network issues.
• Security, compliance or operational requirements.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the app where needed.

GEOptimisation operates using Shopify and other third-party infrastructure providers, such as hosting, database, logging or monitoring services.

We are not responsible for outages, data delays, API changes, service limits or other issues caused by third-party platforms or providers.

The Privacy Policy explains how GEOptimisation collects, uses, stores and protects information.

You must not:

• Use GEOptimisation for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to access data from stores you do not own or manage.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app.
• Reverse engineer, copy or misuse the app.
• Attempt to bypass security, billing or access controls.
• Use the app in a way that may harm GEOptimisation, Shopify, other merchants or third-party systems.
• Upload, process or apply content that is unlawful, misleading, harmful or infringing.

GEOptimisation, including its software, branding, design, workflows, copy, documentation and related materials, is owned by or licensed to GEOptimisation.

You may use the app only as permitted under these Terms.

You retain ownership of your Shopify store data and content.

If you provide feedback, suggestions or ideas about GEOptimisation, we may use them to improve the app without restriction or obligation to compensate you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GEOptimisation and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or loss-of-profit damages arising from or related to your use of the app.

This includes loss of traffic, rankings, sales, revenue, data, business opportunities or goodwill.

GEOptimisation is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability and non-infringement.

You may stop using GEOptimisation at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store.

We may suspend or terminate access to the app if we believe you have breached these Terms, misused the app, created risk for the service or failed to comply with applicable requirements.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Continued use of GEOptimisation after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
